(Organic matter and pH)

Using specialized soil sensor technology, we are able to create maps that capture soil pH and organic matter levels, electrical conductivity and elevation.

Organic matter data helps us further understand field variability. It can also be used to identify trouble spots in the field - including areas with highly variable organic soils (peat) or sand.

Improving your soil’s organic matter can allow you to make better decisions in order to manage lodging.

By getting an accurate reading of pH levels in dense soils, we can also develop Variable Rate lime or gypsum maps as part of a Major Amendment program.

This service can also be part of our annual Zone Management Program.
