Precision Agronomist

We are hiring precision agronomists based in the Vermilion, Wainright, Lloydminster area who have the same goals for their customers. Our ideal team member is self motivated and independent with a background in agronomics, relationship building, and business development. We offer flexible hours, location, and we encourage work-life balance. We have existing customers who need support but we also give you the freedom to create your own customer list, building your own portfolio. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support and enhance existing customer and partner relationships
• Develop new, long term relationships built on providing value and integrity 
• Grow client base via agronomic consulting and precision agriculture technology
• Provide year-round support and management consulting tailored to each individual customer, driving production, sustainability, and driving ROI 
• In field technical support for seasonal applications of various prescriptions
• Ground-truth fields, analyze data and map layers
• Interpret soil test results, data, scans, and historical information to create prescriptions 
• Data collection and analysis to establish grower ROI and performance feedback

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree or diploma in Agriculture or related discipline within Agri-business experience.
• Will consider a Business Degree with agricultural experience and intent to train in agronomics 
• Valid Class 5 drivers license with clean driving record
• Proven ability to build relationships, grow markets, sell and support products and services
• Demonstrate understanding of agricultural industry, current and innovative agronomic practices
• Interest in learning and professional development
